The format required for the DATAKON2002 conference proceedings is explained briefly. Camera-ready paper submission is due to August 29, 2003. Here we give the DATAKON template. Inorder to enable the publisher to bring the workshop proceedings into the uniform layout and style, authors are kindly requested to follow the suggestions mentioned in this paper. Keywords: structure of the paper, template, paper format. Introduction The contribution has to be sent in electronic format (preferably in the MS-Word, or RTF format) to the e-mail address: popel@fi.muni.cz. The maximum length is 10pages (Contributed Talks), 4 pages (Short talks). If you are not able to fulfill any of the requirements of these guidelines or you have any questions to them please contact us by mail (popel@fi.muni.cz) or consult the conference web site (http://www.datakon.cz). Paper Structure and Page Layout Each paper should have the following structure: the title, the name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) of the author(s), the abstract, the keywords, the text, the appendices (if necessary), the list of references. A title has to be centre-aligned, bold and 16 pts character size. Authors names have to be also centre-aligned, surname in capital characters. An abstract (100-200 words) is to be included after the address of institution. The word Abstract is in bold face without indentation. Use style Abstract. For keywords use style Keywords. For title of the paper, name and address of institution use styles Title, Author, and Address, respectively. Use a printing area of 12.2 ( 19.3 cm. The margins must be set as follows: left and right margin 5.2cm, top margin and bottom margins 4.4 cm. Use only one column layout. Do not insert page numbers; the proceedings editor will assign them. Text has to be single line-spaced. Character size is 10 points. Use style Normal. Style Normal First use for the first paragraph in the section. Sections, equations, figures, etc. Section and paragraph numbering Sections are numbered (use styles Heading 1, Heading2 and Heading 3). Section numbering is 1, 2, for subsections please use decimal numbering 2.1, 2.2, . Section headings (11 points bold, line spacing 24 points before and 9 points after), subsections headings (10 points bold, 12 points line space before and 6 points after) and paragraph headings (10 points italics, 12 points before and 3 points after). Do not use any deeper hierarchy. Equations, figures, tables, diagrams Equations, figures, diagrams should be centralised. If there is a need to number them use numbering on the right side in brackets, e.g. EMBED Unknown (1) All illustrations should be numbered consecutively and have captions. Figures, diagrams and tables should be placed at the correct position in the text and should be readable. The legend could be as follows (use Arabic numbers): Fig.3. Diagram , Tab.1. Data Leave enough space between the figure and text. Page numbering Do not use page numbering the final numbering will be added in the proceedings. Avoid references to page numbers. Conclusions We wish you good luck in preparing your submission for the DATAKON'2001 Conference. References All citations in the text must be indicated as Arabic numerals in square brackets, e.g. [1]. The reference list at the end of the paper should be alphabetically ordered according to authors names. Use style Reference for the heading, which is without numbering here as opposed to the style Heading 1. For the items in the reference list use the style ReferenceItem.
